3rd Pan-American Conference on Unsaturated Soils

Following the successful Pan-American Conferences on Unsaturated Soils held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia (February, 2013), and in Dallas, Texas, USA (November, 2017), we invite you to attend the 3rd Pan-American Conference on Unsaturated Soils, which will be held in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in July of 2021. The conference will deal with advances in unsaturated soil mechanics and discuss current and future trends in practical applications. You will feel the unique warmness the cariocas’ hospitality and have the opportunity to experience a modern city that presents itself as a real-scale laboratory of unsaturated soil mechanics.

The conference will be hosted at PUC-Rio, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 25th to 28th of July 2021. It is supported by the TC106 - Technical Committee on Unsaturated Soils of the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering and the Technical Commission on Unsaturated Soils of the Brazilian Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.
