This course covers the basics of setting up a SLOPE/W stability analysis, in addition to reviewing more complex options such as slip surface optimization, probabilistic and sensitivity analyses, and seismic loading in SLOPE/W.

Join Seequent’s Aida Rezapour who will discuss the fundamental concepts as well as more complex options in SLOPE/W.

At the end of this course, you will understand:

• The basic theory and features of SLOPE/W
• Geometry creation
• The material models available and their associated parameters
• Methods for defining the trial slip surfaces
• Options for adding pore water pressures
• The reinforcement functionality in SLOPE/W
• Methods for conducting probabilistic and sensitivity analyses
• How to review stability results, and check convergence

Duration: 4-hour sessions run over 2 days (8-hours total)
